Detached Villa in Benalmadena

Located in La Capellanía, in the hills of Benalmádena, Villa Colina Vista is a six-bedroom villa that has just completed a two-year renovation by a Swedish construction company. Originally built in 1992, the house has been brought up to Scandinavian standards of construction and finish, combining Nordic design with Italian materials. The setting is residential and private, with the coast, Puerto Marina, golf courses, international schools and Málaga Airport within a short drive, and both Málaga and Marbella easily reached along the coast.

Although the villa is set across two levels, it lives like a single-floor home. The main living spaces and bedrooms are arranged on one level, connected by a few gentle steps that give each area its own definition, while a lower level is dedicated to entertainment. The villa offers 645 m² built, 617 m² of terraces and a plot of 1,524 m². It has six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including the primary suite and a second en-suite bedroom, and is offered fully furnished.

The layout is defined by flow. A slightly elevated kitchen opens onto the living areas, which lead directly out to the terrace, the infinity pool and the jacuzzi, creating continuity between the interior and the outdoor spaces. The kitchen is by Nordic Muebles, a Danish kitchen company, and is fitted with Siemens appliances. Italian tiles run through the interiors and continue into the pool, while the bathrooms are finished with Valsir fittings.

The villa includes a dedicated wellness and entertainment offering. A private gym is equipped by Thor, one of the established names in Nordic fitness, and a sauna is built in a combination of glass and wood. The cinema room features a 100-inch screen and a full sound Dolby system. Outside, a custom-built TV wall with a 3x2 metre screen has been designed for viewing in full daylight, so the terrace works as an outdoor living room by day and by night.

Technology has been integrated throughout. The electrical installation is by Schneider, with a smart home system that allows much of the villa to be managed from a mobile phone. An integrated sound system runs both inside and outside the house, also controlled by phone. Access is through a Hörmann entrance gate, and the indoor garage, enclosed in glass, holds two cars behind Hörmann garage doors.
